'Dragon Ball Daima' Reveals Additional Cast, Opening Theme, Second Promo [Update 9/10]

The official website for the Dragon Ball Daima television anime series revealed on Wednesday three additional casts, opening theme, new key visual (pictured), and a second promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 11 at 11:40 p.m. on Fuji TV's 26 broadcast stations.

Higashi no Kaioshin: Yumiko Kobayashi (Soul Eater)
Glorio: Kouki Uchiyama (Hunter x Hunter (2011))
Panzy: Fairouz Ai (Chainsaw Man)

Grammy award-winning electronic producer Zedd is composing the opening theme "Jaka☆Jaan" featuring C&K and Yukinojou Mori (Dragon Ball Z) returns to pen the lyrics. The opening is previewed in the promotional video below.

Yoshitaka Yashima (Dragon Ball Super animation director) and Aya Komaki (One Piece) are directing the new anime. Yuuko Kakihara (Urusei Yatsura (2022)) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru (Dragon Ball Z) is designing the characters.

Original creator Akira Toriyama is credited for the original work, story, and character design. Commemorating the original manga's 40th anniversary, Dragon Ball Daima is the first new anime series in six years since Dragon Ball Super ended in 2018.
