Manga 'Boku no Hero Academia: All Might - Rising' Gets Anime Adaptation

An anime adaptation to Boku no Hero Academia All Might: Rising manga has been announced. Titled: Boku no Hero Academia: All Might - Rising The Animation, it will be bundled in Blu-ray and DVD release of Boku no Hero Academia the Movie: Futari no Hero, to be released on February 13, 2019. It was also announced during the series' event on Sunday, which All Might's cast member Kenta Miyake appeared on the video message.

The manga is a part of the Volume Origin manga, which was distributed as a special gift to the viewers of the movie this summer. The story describes about All Might's past story.

Boku no Hero Academia has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump magazine since July 2014. The series currently has 20 compiled volumes in print, with the latest published on December 4. The manga has received three anime seasons by studio Bones, which aired in Spring 2016, Spring 2017 and Spring 2018 for 12 episodes, 25 episodes and 25 episodes, respectively. Two OVA episodes were bundled with the 13th and 14th compiled manga volumes in April and June last year. A fourth season has already been planned.
