Manga 'Kekkon suru tte, Hontou desu ka' Gets TV Anime
An official website for a television anime adaptation of Tamiki Wakaki's Kekkon suru tte, Hontou desu ka (365 Days to the Wedding) manga opened on Friday.
Wakaki began serializing the workplace romance manga in Big Comic Spirits magazine in March 2020 and ended on June 12. Shogakukan shipped the 10th volume on April 12. The 11th and final volume is scheduled to release on July 12. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English on February 8. The first volume will go on sale on November 14.
Kekkon suru tte, Hontou desu ka received a 10-episode live-action series that premiered in October 2022 on Amazon Prime Video in Japan.
Synopsis
Takuya and Rika are coworkers in a travel agency in Tokyo. They're both single, but they don't mind, since they're introverts with fulfilling lives at home. Unfortunately, now their job is looking to staff an office in Siberia, and non-married employees are the first to be considered. Rika is desperate to avoid the transfer and goes to Takuya with an idea: if they pretend they're getting married in a year, they can stay in Tokyo. The only problem is the two of them barely know each other! If these two quiet coworkers "fake" a relationship, will it turn into something real? (Source: Seven Seas Entertainment)
