'Misaki no Mayoiga' Unveils Main Cast, Additional Staff, Trailer
The official website of the Misaki no Mayoiga anime film revealed on Tuesday the main cast, additional staff, and a trailer. The film is scheduled to open in theaters on August 27.
Mana Ashida (Kaijuu no Kodomo) is voicing the main character Yui. Governor of the Iwate Prefecture, Takuya Tasso, will voice the kappa of Kozuchigawa.
New staff members include Kamogawa ("Chikatetsu ni Noru" Series light novel) as the original character designer, and Yuri Miyauchi as the music composer.
Shinya Kawatsura (Non Non Biyori) is helming the film at David Production. Reiko Yoshida (Kimi to, Nami ni Noretara) is penning the script.
Sachiko Kawashiba originally serialized the novel from May 2014 to July 2015 in Iwate Nippo's Nippo Junior Weekly. A revised version was published by Kodansha in September 2015 with artworks by Yukiko Saito.
