Shihei Lin, the editor of Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man manga, announced on Twitter on Monday that its second part will launch on Shounen Jump+ on July 13.

Yuuta Moriyama, the web magazine's deputy editor, also announced on Twitter that the second part will simultaneously serialize on Shueisha's Manga Plus platform in English, Spanish, Thai, French, and Portuguese.

Ahead of the second part's debut, Fujimoto and Oto Tooda (Chihayafuru: Chuugakusei-hen) will publish a one-shot on Shounen Jump+ titled Futsuu ni Kiitekure. Fujimoto is credited for the story, with Tooda in charge of drawing.

Fujimoto began Chainsaw Man in Weekly Shounen Jump in December 2018, following the conclusion of his Fire Punch manga in Shounen Jump+ in January that year. The manga ended with 97 chapters in Weekly Shounen Jump in December 2020. Shueisha published the 11th and final volume last March. Chainsaw Man has a cumulative 12 million copies of its volumes in circulation.

VIZ Media simulpublished the manga on its Shounen Jump platform and released the 11th and final volume on June 7. Shueisha's Manga Plus service also simulpublished the manga in English.

A television anime by animation studio MAPPA is currently in production. Ryuu Nakayama (Jujutsu Kaisen episode director) is helming the anime, with Hiroshi Seko (Dorohedoro) penning the script.
