'Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan' Reveals More Cast, Opening Theme, Second Promo
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Michirou Ueyama's Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan (The Old Man Reincarnated as a Villainess) manga and revealed a pair of cast, opening theme, and a second promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on January 10 at 12:26 a.m. on TBS and MBS' 28 affiliate stations' Super Animeism TURBO programming block.
Tomoyo Kurosawa (Hibike! Euphonium) and Takako Honda (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners) are joining the cast as Hinako and Mitsuko Tondabayashi, respectively.
Rock band Cidergirl (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.) performs the opening theme "Choose!!!" which is previewed in the promotional video below.
Tetsuya Takeuchi (Yuri Seijin Naoko-san) helms the anime at Ajia-do. Shingo Irie (Shoumetsu Toshi) handles the series composition and Haruka Matsunae (Honzuki no Gekokujou 3rd Season) is designing the characters.
Natsumi Tabuchi (Majo to Yajuu), Misaki Tsuchida (The New Gate), Tsugumi Tanaka (Henjin no Salad Bowl), Reiko Abe, and Kaho Sawada (Megami no Café Terrace 2nd Season) are composing the music.
Ueyama began serializing the comedy fantasy manga in Young King OURs GH magazine in March 2020. Shounen Gahousha shipped the seventh volume on August 5.
