Manga 'Aoharu x Kikanjuu' Ends
Manga author NAOE announced on Twitter that her survival game series Aoharu x Kikanjuu (Aoharu x Machinegun) will end in the September issue of Square Enix's GFantasy on August 18.
NAOE initially launched a one-shot on Gangan Online in January 2011, before it debuted in GFantasy as a full series in June 2012. 16 volumes are currently in print as of May 27. Yen Press hold the license for North American release and shipped the 15th volume on April 30.
A TV anime adaptation which aired in Summer 2015 was animated by Brain's Base. Crunchyroll provided a simulcast on its streaming platform while it was airing. Sentai Filmworks released the anime on a standard Blu-ray and DVD in November 2016.
