'The New Gate' Reveals Additional Cast, Staff, Second Promo
The official website of the The New Gate television anime revealed additional cast, staff, and the second promotional video on Friday. The anime is scheduled to air on April 14 at 1:30 a.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11, followed by MBS and AT-X.

Tamaki Nakatsu (Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu episode director) is helming the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab and Cloud Hearts. Hiroki Uchida (Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja) is handling the series composition, and Itsuki Takemoto (Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu sub-character design) is designing the characters.
Tatsuhiko Saiki (Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu.), Yuya Mori (Kemono Jihen), Misaki Tsuchida, and Tsukumi Tanaka are composing the music.
The New Gate adapts Shinogi Kazanami's the action fantasy novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2013. AlphaPolis acquired the novel and published the first volume in December of the same year, featuring illustrations by Makai no Juumin. KeG (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu) was in charge of the illustrations for volumes ten and eleven, and Akira Banpai took over as the illustrator starting volume 12. The 22nd volume was released in November 2023.
Yoshiyuki Miwa began drawing a manga adaptation in AlphaPolis Web Manga magazine in November 2014. The 14th volume went on sale on March 22.
One Peace licensed the manga in English in March 2020 and published the 12th volume on February 6. AlphaPolis is also publishing the manga on its Alpha Manga app and website.
