'Ishura' 2nd Season Announces More Cast [Update 10/15]

The official website of the Ishura anime series announced four additional cast for the second season on Tuesday. The second season adapting Keiso's action fantasy light novel will begin airing in January 2025.

Tasogare Kuguri Yukiharu: Yasuhiro Mamiya (Dr. Stone)
Fugen no Uhaku: Tetsu Inada (Boku no Hero Academia)
Seizu no Romzo: Houchuu Ootsuka (Baki)
Kuroi Neiro no Kazuki: Nana Mizuki (Senki Zesshou Symphogear)

Keiso originally began penning the series on the Kakuyomu website in June 2017, followed by Shousetsuka ni Narou the following month. Kadokawa began publishing the novel with illustrations by Kureta under its Dengeki no Shin Bungei label in September 2019. The ninth volume went on sale on February 16, with the tenth volume planned to be released later this year.

Monthly Shounen Magazine began serializing a manga adaptation by Meguri in March 2021. Kodansha published the fourth volume on June 17.

Yen Press licensed the light novel in English in September 2021 and released the seventh volume on July 23. The eighth volume is scheduled for a November 19 release.
