'Leadale no Daichi nite' Announces Supporting Cast Pair
The official website of the Leadale no Daichi nite (World of Leadale) anime series revealed two supporting cast and a fourth key visual (pictured) on Sunday. The television anime adapting Ceez's adventure fantasy light novel will begin airing on January 5 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS NTV, and AT-X.
Voice actress Azusa Tadokoro (Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii Desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii Desu ka?, Yuusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shuushoku wo Ketsui Shimashita.) is playing the character Caerina. Tomoya Takagi (Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!) is joining the cast as Caerick.
Tadokoro is also performing the ending theme "Hakoniwa no Koufuku." Anisong singer TRUE (Hibike! Euphonium) is performing the opening theme "Happy encount."
Yuuji Yanase (Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai.) is directing the anime at Maho Film. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) is handling the series composition and script.
Kaho Deguchi (Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko), Eri Kojima (100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru), and Toshihide Masudate (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.) are designing the characters.
Ceez began writing the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2010. Kadokawa began publishing the series with illustrations by Tenmaso in January 2019 and shipped the seventh volume on August 30. Yen Press licensed the light novel in English last October and released the fourth volume on December 14.
