'Undead Unluck' Announces Additional Pair of Cast
The official website of the Undead Unluck television anime announced additional cast on Sunday. The anime premiered on October 7 at 1:23 a.m. on MBS and TBS' 28 associated stations and will broadcast in two consecutive cours.
Yui Ishikawa (Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu) and Jun Fukushima (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) are joining the cast as Mui and Clothes, respectively.
Yuki Yase (Enen no Shouboutai) is directing the anime at David Production. Hideyuki Morioka (Kizumonogatari trilogy) is designing the characters and Kenichiro Suehiro (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Yoshifumi Tozuka's action comedy manga, which originally began as a one-shot in Weekly Shounen Jump in January 2019. The manga began regular serialization in the magazine the following January. Shueisha shipped the 18th volume on October 4.
Viz Media licensed the manga in English in October 2020. The 12th volume went on sale on July 18, with the 13th volume scheduled to be released on October 17.
