'Raise wa Tanin ga Ii' Unveils Main Cast, Staff, Fall 2024 Premiere

An official website opened for the television anime adaptation of Asuka Konishi's Raise wa Tanin ga Ii (Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii) manga on Friday, revealing the main cast, staff, and a key visual (pictured). The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2024.

Hitomi Ueda (Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari) and Akira Ishida (Gintama) are starring as Yoshino Somei and Kirishima Miyama, respectively.

Konishi began serializing the crime romance manga in Afternoon magazine in August 2017. Kodansha shipped the eighth volume in October 2023.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in February 2022. The seventh volume was released on April 2, with the fifth volume scheduled to go on sale on September 3.
