'Watari-kun no xx ga Houkai Sunzen' Unveils Additional Cast, Theme Songs

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Naru Narumi's Watari-kun no xx ga Houkai Sunzen (Watari-kun's ****** Is about to Collapse) manga revealed additional cast, theme songs, the key visual (pictured), and two promotional videos on Thursday. The anime series will begin airing on July 5 at 1:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by BS NTV, Sun TV, TV Kanagawa, and AT-X.

Shigenobu Tokui: Yoshiki Nakajima (Unnamed Memory)
Suzushiro Watari: Hinaki Yano (Wonder Egg Priority)
Singer-songwriter Yuika performs the opening theme "Yuurei ni Naritai" and rock band PEDRO is performing the ending theme "Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai." Both theme songs are previewed in the promotional videos below.
Takashi Naoya (Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy) is directing the anime at Staple Entertainment. Tatsuya Takahashi (Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta.) is handling the series composition, and Tetsuya Yamada (Übel Blatt) is penning the script with Takashi Naoya. Shouko Yasuda (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) is designing the characters and Ken Muramatsu (Natsuyuki Rendezvous) composes the music.
Narumi began drawing the romance drama in Young Ace magazine in August 2014 before transferring it to Monthly Young Magazine in November 2015. Kodansha released the 16th and final volume in November 2023.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga for digital release in English in November 2019. The final volume went on sale in April 2024.
