'Majutsushi Kunon wa Mieteiru' Unveils Additional Cast Pair, Staff
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Umikaze Minamino's Majutsushi Kunon wa Mieteiru (Kunon the Sorcerer Can See) light novel unveiled a pair of additional cast, staff, and key visual (pictured) on Friday. The anime series will premiere in January 4, 2026 at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by BS Asahi and WOWOW.
Voice actresses Rikako Yamaguchi (The iDOLM@STER Million Live!) and Nobunaga Shimazaki (Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan) are joining the cast as Jenie Kors and Zeonly Finroll, respectively.

Hideaki Ooba (Koroshi Ai) is directing the anime at Platinum Vision, with Yukie Sugawara (Sentouin, Haken shimasu!) handling the series composition and script. Youko Satou (Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou.) and Toshimitsu Kobayashi (Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou) are designing the characters. Shunsuke Takizawa (Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo) is composing the music.
Minamino began penning the action fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in August 2021. Kadokawa began publishing the series under its Kadokawa Books imprint in March 2022, featuring illustrations by Laruha. Kadokawa released the seventh volume on March 10.
La-na began serializing a manga adaptation in Monthly Comic Alive in April 2022. The sixth volume shipped on May 22, with the seventh volume planned for a December 23 release.
Yen Press licensed the light novel and manga in English. The fifth light novel volume is scheduled to be released in January 6, 2026, and the second manga volume will go on sale on March 24, 2026.
