German Artist Gets Manga Published by Shueisha

The first volume of German artist Carolin Eckhardt's online comic "Okusama Guten Tag!" was published by Shueisha on Friday. Shueisha serializes Eckhardt's comic in its "Tonari no Young Jump" online magazine.

The story follows a newlywed couple, Julia and Takashi. Julia hails from Germany and Takashi is a Japanese bank employee. The volume includes the comic itself, recipes for German food appearing in the series, and Eckhardt's commentaries on German culture.
