'Shakunetsu Kabaddi' Reveals Additional Pair of Cast, First Promo
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hajime Musashino's Shakunetsu Kabaddi (Burning Kabaddi) manga revealed on Saturday an additional pair of cast and the first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 3 at 1:23 a.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by TV Osaka, TV Aichi, and AT-X.
Actor and singer Shunya Oohira is performing the opening theme "FIRE BIRD." Yuuma Uchida, who voices Tatsuya Yoigoshi in the anime, will perform the ending theme "Comin' Back." Both theme songs are previewed in the promotional video below.
Kazuya Ichikawa (Kenpeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun) is helming the anime at TMS Entertainment. Yuuko Kakihara (Tsuki ga Kirei) is handling the series composition and is penning the script with Midori Gotou (Hoozuki no Reitetsu). Ken Itou (100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru) is composing the music.
Musashino began serializing the sports manga in Ura Sunday in July 2015. Shogakukan shipped the 15th volume on October 12, with the 16th volume scheduled for release on March 18.
