Light Novel 'Henjin no Salad Bowl' Gets TV Anime
A television anime adaptation of Yomi Hirasaka's Henjin no Salad Bowl (Salad Bowl of Eccentrics) light novel was announced by broadcasting company TBS on Thursday.
Hirasaka began penning the fantasy comedy novel under the Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint in October 2021, with illustrations by Kantoku. Both previously worked together on the Imouto sae Ireba Ii. (A Sister's All You Need.) light novel. Shogakukan shipped the fourth volume on December 20 and the fifth volume is scheduled to release on July 19.
A manga adaptation by Koutarou Yamada began serializing on the Sunday Webry website on September 27. The second volume went on sale on June 12.
Synopsis
Kaburaya Sosuke, an impoverished detective, meets Sarah, a princess from another world with magical powers. They start living together, and Sarah quickly adjusts her life to modern Japan. (Source: Shogakukan, translated)
