Main Staff of 'Leadale no Daichi nite' Announced
Kadokawa announced the main staff members for the anime adaptation of Ceez's Leadale no Daichi nite (In the Land of Leadale) light novel at the Light Novel Expo event on Saturday.
Yuuji Yanase (Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai.) is directing the anime at Maho Film. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) is in charge of the series composition and script.
Toshihide Masudate (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.), Eri Kojima (100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru), and Kaho Deguchi (Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko) are designing the characters.
Ceez began writing the adventure fantasy series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2010. Kadokawa began releasing the novel through its Famitsu Bunko label with illustrations by Tenmaso in January 2019. The sixth volume shipped on February 27.
Web DenPlay Comic began serializing a manga adaptation by Dashio Tsukimi in July 2019. Kadokawa published the second volume last August.
Yen Press licensed the light novel in English in November 2019 and published the second volume on February 23. The third volume is planned for a July 20 release.
