'Mou Ippon!' Unveils Additional Cast, Staff, Second Promo

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yuu Muraoka's Mou Ippon! ("Ippon" again!) manga unveiled additional cast, staff, a second promo, and a key visual (pictured above) on Friday. The anime is scheduled to broadcast on TV Tokyo and others in January 2023.

Takeru Ogiwara (Jouran: The Princess of Snow and Blood episode director) is directing the slice of life anime at Bakken Record. Aya Satsuki (Uchi no Shishou wa Shippo ga Nai script) is composing the series, and Airi Takegawa (Carole & Tuesday key animation) is designing the characters. Shun Narita (Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru) is handling the music.

Muraoka began serializing the slice of life sports manga in Weekly Shounen Champion in October 2018. Akita Shoten published the first volume under their Shounen Champion Comics imprint in February 2019. The 20th volume shipped on October 6.
