'Rock wa Lady no Tashinami deshite' Unveils Cast Pair, Theme Songs, Second Promo
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hiroshi Fukuda's Rock wa Lady no Tashinami deshite (Rock Is a Lady's Modesty) manga revealed a pair of additional cast, theme songs, key visual (pictured), and a second promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 3 at 11:56 p.m. on TBS, followed by AT-X.
Voice actresses Ayaka Fukuhara (The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san) and Natsumi Fujiwara (Great Pretender, Spy x Family) are joining the cast as Tina Isemi and Tamaki Shiraya, respectively.
Rock band BAND-MAID (Zenshuu., Platinum End) is performing the opening theme "Ready to Rock" and Little Glee Monster (Boku no Hero Academia 2nd Season, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations) performs the ending theme "Yume ja Nai nara Nannano sa." Both songs are previewed in the promotional video below.
Shinya Watada (Gundam Build Fighters Try) is directing the anime at Bandai Namco Pictures. Shougo Yasukawa (Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata) is handling the series composition and Risa Miyatani (Aikatsu Planet!) is designing the character design.
Fukuda began serializing the music drama manga in Hakusensha's Young Animal in October 2022. The sixth volume was released on November 28 and the seventh volume is scheduled to go on sale on March 28.
