Additional Cast Announced for 'Shakunetsu Kabaddi' TV Anime
The official website for the Shakunetsu Kabaddi (Burning Kabaddi) TV anime adaptation revealed five additional cast members on Tuesday. The anime premieres on TV Tokyo at 1:23 a.m. on April 3.
Cast
Ayumu Rokugen: Hiroki Yasumoto (Yowamushi Pedal)
Ren Takaya: Kenichi Suzumura (Kuroko no Basket)
Shintarou Kizaki: Taku Yashiro (Ahiru no Sora)
Yuu Eikura: Shuuichi Uchida (Haikyuu!!: To the Top)
Daisuke Muroya: Junichi Yanagita (Shokugeki no Souma)
All five characters play for the Souwa High School kabaddi club. The previously announced main cast and supporting cast all voice characters from the Noukin High School club.
The adaptation of Hajime Musashino's sports manga is being directed by Kazuya Ichikawa (Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun) at TMS Entertainment. Yuuko Kakihara (Tsuki ga Kire, Hataraku Saibou! (TV)) is in charge of series composition and is collaborating on the script with Midori Gotou (Hoozuki no Reitetsu, Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun). Ken Itou (100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru) is composing the music.
