'Kaijuu 8-gou' Unveils Supporting Cast
The official website of the Kaijuu 8-gou (Kaiju No. 8) television anime unveiled supporting cast members on Saturday. The television anime began airing on April 13 at 11:00 p.m. on TV Tokyo and is streaming worldwide on X (formerly Twitter).

Kaijuu No. 9: Hiroyuki Yoshino (Metallic Rouge)
Takamichi Hotaka: Tomokazu Sugita (Yuuki Bakuhatsu Bang Bravern)
Isao Shinomiya: Tesshou Genda (Youjo Senki)
Tae Nakanoshima: Mutsumi Tamura (Shy)
Shigeyuki Miya (Onihei) and Tomomi Kamiya (Rokuhou-dou Yotsuiro Biyori) are directing the anime at Production I.G. Ichirou Ookouchi (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo) is in charge of the script and series composition. Tetsuya Nishio (Vampire in the Garden) is designing the characters and is the chief animation director. Yuuta Bandou (Ryuu to Sobakasu no Hime) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Naoya Matsumoto's action sci-fi manga, which began serialization on the Shounen Jump+ website in July 2020. Shueisha shipped the 12th volume on April 4.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in February 2021. The ninth volume was released on January 2. Shueisha's Manga Plus platform also simulpublishes it in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, and French.
