New 'Fruits Basket' TV Anime Announces Two More Cast Members [Update 3/27]

The official website for the new Fruits Basket TV anime has announced two additional cast members. The anime is slated for this spring and will air via TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, as well as other channels.

Update February 14

The official website has announced that Akito Sohma will be voiced by Maaya Sakamoto (Kuroshitsuji series), and the first two episodes will be pre-screened during the previously announced event on March 16.

Update March 5

The official website has announced that Kyouko Honda will be voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro (new Lupin III series). The anime will air on Saturdays at 1:23 a.m. via TV Tokyo, followed by TV Osaka, and TV Aichi starting April 6.

AnimeJapan 2019 stage for the anime will also be held on March 24. Manaka Iwami (Tooru Honda), Nobunaga Shimazaki (Yuki Souma), and Yuuma Uchida (Kyou Souma) will appear for a talk show.
