'Seihantai na Kimi to Boku' Announces Additional Cast Pair
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Koucha Agasawa's Seihantai na Kimi to Boku (You and I Are Polar Opposites) manga announced an additional pair of cast on Friday. The anime will air at 5:00 p.m. on MBS and TBS beginning January 2026.
Takakazu Nagatomo (Shoushimin Series episode director) is helming the anime at Lapin Track. Teruko Utsumi (Sarazanmai) is handling the series composition as well as overseeing the production. Mako Miyako is the character designer and Tofubeats (Hokkyoku Hyakkaten no Concierge-san) is composing the music.
Agasawa originally drew the romantic comedy manga on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine as a one-shot in January 2021 before beginning regular serialization in May 2022. The manga ended its over 3.5 year-run with 65 chapters in November 2024. Shueisha published the eighth and final volume on March 4.
Shueisha's Manga Plus platform began publishing the chapters in English in June 2022. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in October 2023 and published the sixth volume on August 5, with the seventh volume scheduled for release on November 4.
