'Honzuki no Gekokujou: Ryoushu no Youjo' Reveals Additional Staff, First Promo, 2 Consecutive Cours
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Miya Kazuki's Honzuki no Gekokujou: Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen (Ascendance of a Bookworm: I'll Do Anything to Become a Librarian!) light novel revealed new staff, the opening theme, first promo, and a key visual (pictured) for the fourth season, Ryoushu no Youjo (Adopted Daughter of an Archduke), on Monday. The anime will run for two consecutive cours beginning April 4 at 5:30 p.m. on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV Network, followed by Tokyo MX.

J-pop unit Little Glee Monster (Vanitas no Karte Part 2) is performing the opening theme "Pages," previewed in the promotional video below.
Yoshiaki Iwasaki (Kowloon Generic Romance) is helming the fourth season at WIT Studio. Mariko Kunisawa (Boushoku no Berserk) is handling the series composition and Aiko Minowa (Grimm Kumikyoku sub-character design) is designing the characters. Michiru (Shuumatsu no Izetta) is returning to compose the music.
Ajia-do produced the first three seasons in Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Spring 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the anime with multiple subtitles and dubs. Sentai Filmworks licensed the first two seasons and released them on home video in January 2021.
Kazuki penned the fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website from September 2013 to March 2017. TO Books began publishing the novel with illustrations by You Shiina in January 2015 and published the 33rd and final volume in December 2023.
Suzuka serialized a manga adaptation of the light novel's first part on the Comic Corona web magazine from October 2015 to July 2018. The second part began in the same magazine in September 2018. TO Books published the 13th and final volume on September 15.
Ryou Namino began serializing a manga adaptation of the third part in April 2018, with Hikaru Katsuki adapting the fourth part in December 2022.
