Light Novel 'Isekai Yururi Kikou' Receives TV Anime in 2024
An official website opened for a television anime adaptation of Shizuru Minazuki's Isekai Yururi Kikou: Kosodateshinagara Boukensha Shimasu (A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring) light novel on Thursday, revealing the main cast, staff, and a teaser visual (pictured). The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2024.
Aina Suzuki (Love Live! Sunshine!!) and Miharu Hanai (Uma Musume: Pretty Derby Season 2) are starring as Allen and Elena, respectively.
Atsushi Nigorikawa (Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareta Beast Tamer, Saikyoushu no Nekomimi Shoujo to Deau) is directing the anime at EMT Squared. B. Bird is credited with production cooperation.
Minazuki began penning the fantasy slice of life novel on AlphaPolis' website in June 2016. AlphaPolis published the first volume in April 2017, featuring illustrations by Yamakawa. The 15th volume was released on September 30. The light novel and manga have a cumulative 1.1 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
AlphaPolis Web Manga serialized a manga adaptation by Tomomi Mizuna in January 2018. The seventh volume went on sale on March 24, while the eighth volume is scheduled for a December 14 release. AlphaPolis is also releasing the manga digitally in English on its Alpha Manga website and app.
Synopsis
Takumi gets accidentally killed by the wind god Syl and is reborn and summoned to another world. After giving Takumi his sincerest apologies, Syl grants Takumi with skills and sends him to the world Etelldia that Syl presides over. However, this new world is a vast forest filled with dangerous monsters...
In the forest, Takumi finds a young boy and girl who appear to be twins. He is worried about their safety and names them Alan and Elena, and decides to take care of them. He soon finds out to his surprise they are able to defeat a monster with their bare hands. The three of them reach a town, and Takumi decides to register at a guild to make a living.
