'3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei' Reveals Additional Staff, Theme Songs, First Promo
The Gintama Maruchibasu Festival event revealed additional staff, a key visual (pictured), theme song artists, and a promotional video for the television anime adaptation of 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei (3-Z Ginpachi Sensei) light novel on Saturday. The spin-off anime is scheduled to premiere on October 7 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo.

Singer-songwriter Botchi Boromaru (Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!) will perform the opening theme song “Sakurakaze,” and LONGMAN (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations) performs the ending theme “Underclass HERO.” Both songs are previewed in the promotional video below.
Natsumi Higashida (Tokyo Mew Mew New ♡ assistant director) directs the anime with chief director Makoto Moriwaki (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun director) at Bandai Namco Pictures. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Shangri-La Frontier) and Mitei Mark II are handling the series composition. Shinji Takeuchi (Gintama) is designing the characters and Audio Highs (Gintama) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Tomohito Oosaki's spin-off light novel which began in February 2006 under Shueisha's Jump J Books, featuring illustrations by Hideaki Sorachi. The eighth volume went on sale in June 2018, while the ninth volume is scheduled to go on sale on December 4.
