'Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest' Announces Additional Cast
The official website for the Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest television anime series announces four additional casts on Wednesday. The anime adapting the sequel manga by Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda will begin airing on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting in July 2024.

Elefseria: Mugihito (Dr. Stone)
Mercphobia: Yuuichirou Umehara (Goblin Slayer)
Karameel: Youko Hikasa (Hataraku Maou-sama!)
Touka: Sayumi Suzushiro (Sousou no Frieren)
Toshinori Watanabe (Edens Zero 2nd Season) is helming the anime with chief director Shinji Ishihira (Fairy Tail). Atsuhiro Tomioka (Tennis no Oujisama) is handling the series composition and Yurika Sako (Shiro Seijo to Kuro Bokushi chief animation director) is designing the characters. Yasuharu Takanashi (Log Horizon) is returning to compose the music.
Mashima and Ueda began the sequel on the Magazine Pocket web manga platform in July 2018, approximately a year after the original Fairy Tail manga ended. Kodansha published the 17th volume on April 9.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in March 2019 and released the 14th volume last October. The 15th volume went on sale on April 9 and the 16th volume is scheduled to release on September 10.
