'Golden Kamuy' 4th Season Unveils Additional Staff, First Promo for Fall 2022

The NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan special stage at AnimeJapan 2022 revealed additional staff and the first promotional video for the fourth season of the Golden Kamuy anime series on Sunday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2022.

Shizutaka Sugahara (D-Frag! director) is helming the new season at Brain's Base as the chief director, with Noboru Takagi (Golden Kamuy) handling the series composition. Takumi Yamakawa (Grimms Notes the Animation animation director) is designing the characters.

Golden Kamuy adapts Satoru Noda's historical adventure manga, which began in Young Jump magazine in August 2014. Shueisha will ship the 29th volume on April 19. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in October 2016 and will release the 26th volume on May 17.
