New Episode Announced for 'Sora no Method' Anime Series
The official website of Sora no Method (Celestial Method) announced a new episode for the anime series on Monday. The episode will feature a new character. A commemorative visual has also been revealed (pictured).
Produced by Studio 3Hz, Masayuki Sakoi directed the slice of life fantasy anime series in Fall 2014 based on an original concept by Naoki Hisaya (Kanon), featuring character designs by illustrator duo QP:flapper (Gi(a)rlish Number). The seventh and final Blu-ray volume bundled a special episode in July 2015.
A manga adaptation by Yuka Namisaki began in Dengeki Daioh magazine in August 2014. The manga went on a one-month hiatus in February 2015 due to the author's poor health, but did not resume in the following month as planned. The magazine's editorial department announced in October of the same year that the serialization has been suspended as the author has had difficulty continuing the manga. Kadokawa published the first compiled volume in October 2014.
Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime in North America and released it on a Blu-ray and DVD volume in March 2016. Crunchyroll streamed the anime simultaneously with subtitles.
