'Darwin Jihen' Reveals Additional Cast, Staff, Opening Theme, Second Promo
The official website of the Darwin Jihen (The Darwin Incident) television anime unveiled additional cast, staff, opening theme song, and second promo on Friday. The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliate stations on January 7, 2026, airing every Wednesday at 12:00 a.m.

Japanese pop-rock band Official HIGE DANdism (Tokyo Revengers) is performing the opening theme song "Make Me Wonder," previewed in the second promo below.
Naokatsu Tsuda (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV)) is directing the anime at Bellnox Films. Shinichi Inotsume (Persona 5 the Animation) is handling the series composition and Shinpei Tomooka (Trinity Seven) is designing the characters. Alisa Okehazama (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) and Mariko Horikawa are composing the music.
The anime adapts Shun Umezawa's sci-fi manga which began in Afternoon magazine in June 2020. Kodansha shipped the nineth volume on May 22.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in November 2022 and released the eighth volume on September 23.
