'Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki' Announces Pair of Additional Cast

The official website for the Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki (A Certain Middle-Aged Man's VRMMO Activity Log) television anime adaptation revealed a pair of additional cast on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 3 at 1:00 a.m. on BS11, followed by Tokyo MX and AT-X.

Hiroyuki Yoshino (Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis) and Mutsumi Kaneko (Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko 2nd Season) are joining the cast as Ward and Myun, respectively.

Yuuichi Nakazawa (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! animation director) is helming the anime at Maho Film. Touko Machida (Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki) is handling the series composition. Yuuko Watabe (Glass no Kantai) and Yuuko Ooba (Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita) are the main character designers. Technoboys Pulcraft Green-Fund (Trinity Seven) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Howahowa Shiina's action fantasy novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2013 before moving to AlphaPolis' website in August 2016. AlphaPolis acquired the novel and published the first volume in February 2014, featuring illustrations by Yamaada. The 27th volume was released on March 1.

Shuusai Rikudou began drawing a manga adaptation in AlphaPolis Web Manga in June 2014. The 11th volume is scheduled to ship on September 30.
