'SK∞' New Anime Project Announced as Second Season, New OVA

The SK∞ Week Special Event at the Palette Civic Theater in Okinawa on Sunday confirmed the new anime as a second season and new original video anime. The event also revealed an announcement promo.
Hiroko Utsumi (Banana Fish) is returning to direct both anime at Bones. Ichirou Ookouchi (Koutetsujou no Kabaneri) and Michinori Chiba (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) are also returning to handle the series composition and character designs, respectively.
SK∞ (SK8 the Infinity) aired in 12 episodes on the ANiMAZiNG!!! programming block on ABC TV, TV Asahi, and 24 affiliated channels in Winter 2021. Aniplex of America licensed the anime and streamed it on Funimation with subtitles and later with an English dub. The company released the anime on home video on June 14.
Kazuto Kohjima began a manga adaptation on BookLive's e-book store under Live Comics in March 2021. The seventh volume shipped last November.
Kadokawa's Young Ace UP website serialized a comedy spin-off manga by Toriyasu from January to September last year. The manga was collected into one volume in October that year.
