'Mononogatari 2nd Season' Announces Additional Cast
The official website of the Mononogatari (Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari) television anime announced additional cast members for the second season on Friday. The second season is set to broadcast on July 4 at 12:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11, followed by AT-X and Tochigi TV.

Megatera Zero is performing the opening theme "Ta ga Tame" and Azusa Tadokoro (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken, Musaigen no Phantom World) performing the ending theme "Private Room."
Ryuuichi Kimura (Aikatsu!) is directing the television anime at Bandai Namco Pictures. Keiichirou Oochi (Peach Boy Riverside) is handling the series composition and Shiori Fujisawa (Aikatsu on Parade! SD character design) is designing the characters. John Kanda (Kumo desu ga, Nani ka? theme song composition) and XELIK (Fate/Grand Carnival theme song arrangement) are composing the music.
The anime series adapts Onigunsou's supernatural fantasy manga, which began in Miracle Jump in April 2014 before it switched to Ultra Jump in January 2016. Shueisha published the 15th volume on January 19. Shueisha's Shounen Jump+ web magazine also serializes the manga.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English on April 27. The second volume shipped on April 11, with the third volume set to release on July 11.
