'Seihantai na Kimi to Boku' Announces Additional Cast
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Koucha Agasawa's Seihantai na Kimi to Boku (You and I Are Polar Opposites) manga announced three additional cast on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2026 at 5:00 p.m. on MBS and TBS.

Manami Watanabe: Yuna Taniguchi (Ahiru no Sora)
Aoi Satou: Konatsu Hirabayashi
Kentarou Yamada: Anji Iwata (Yofukashi no Uta Season 2)
Takakazu Nagatomo (Shoushimin Series episode director) is helming the anime at Lapin Track. Teruko Utsumi (Sarazanmai) is handling the series composition as well as overseeing the animation production. Mako Miyako is the character designer and Tofubeats (Hokkyoku Hyakkaten no Concierge-san) is composing the music.
Agasawa originally drew the romantic comedy manga on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine as a one-shot in January 2021 before beginning regular serialization in May 2022. The manga ended its over 3.5 year-run with 65 chapters in November 2024. Shueisha published the eighth and final volume on March 4.
Shueisha published the light novel adaptation under its JUMP J BOOKS imprint with illustrations by Nishima Shunhito in November 2023.
Shueisha's Manga Plus platform began publishing the chapters in English in June 2022. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in October 2023 and published the sixth volume on August 5.
