Manga 'Clevatess' Gets TV Anime

Publisher Kadokawa opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Yuji Iwahara's Clevatess: Majuu no Ou to Akago to Shikabane no Yuusha manga on Tuesday, revealing the main cast, staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and the first promotional video.

Iwahara (Dimension W) began drawing the action fantasy manga on the LINE Manga web platform in August 2020. Kadokawa began serializing the manga under its Alive+ magazine on the ComicWalker website on April 23. The first and second volumes are scheduled to go on sale on July 5.

Synopsis
Alicia, who had dreamed of becoming a hero since childhood, is chosen by the king as one of the thirteen heroes. Armed with a legendary sword, the heroes set out to defeat the Demon King Clevatess. However, their recklessness triggers a terrible crisis that could wipe out all of humanity on the continent of Edsea. Now, the world's only hope lies with a baby entrusted to the Demon King.
