'Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! Double' Announces Supporting Cast Pair, Ending Theme Artist
The official website of the Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) television anime revealed two supporting cast, ending theme artist, and a second key visual for the second season—Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! Double (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! Double)—on Monday.
The new season will premiere on October 1 at 9:00 p.m. on AT-X, followed by ABC TV, Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, and BS11. d Anime Store will also stream the anime.
Miki Itou (Fate/stay night) and Tomokazu Sugita (Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii) are joining the cast as Haruko Sakurai and Shirou Sakurai, the male protagonist Shinichi Sakurai's parents.
Virtual musical unit MKLNtic is performing the ending theme "Happy Life." Kano and voice actress Naomi Oozora (Uzaki-chan) are returning to perform the opening theme "Ichigo Ichi e Celebration."
Kazuya Miura (Kyuukyoku Shinka shita Full Dive RPG ga Genjitsu yori mo Kusoge Dattara) is reprising as director, with assistant director Shinichi Fukumoto (Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru.). Takashi Aoshima (Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru!) and Manabu Kurihara (Tokyo Ghoul: "Pinto") are also returning for the series composition, and character designer and chief animation director, respectively.
Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! adapts Take's ecchi comedy manga, which they originally launched on their official Twitter before Dra-Dra-Dragon Age (now Dra-Dra Sharp#) web manga portal began serializing it in December 2017. Kadokawa published the eighth volume on March 9.
