'Medalist 2nd Season' Announces Additional Cast
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Tsurumaikada's Medalist manga announced four additional cast members for the second season on Sunday. The second season premiered on January 25 at 1:30 a.m. on TV Asahi's NUMAnimation programming block, followed by CS TV Asahi and BS Asahi.

Miku Ahiru: Konomi Inagaki (Busamen Gachi Fighter)
Kohei Kamogawa: Shouya Ishige (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru)
Juna Shiratori: Yuuki Ono (Kuroko no Basket)
Yasutaka Yamamoto (Noblesse) is returning to directs the second season at ENGI, with Jukki Hanada (Atri: My Dear Moments) handling the series composition and script. Chinatsu Kameyama (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. 2) is designing the characters. Yuuki Hayashi (Ballroom e Youkoso) is composing the music.
Tsurumaikada began drawing the drama sports manga in Afternoon in May 2020. Kodansha published the 14th volume on January 22.
Produced by ENGI, the first season aired in 13 episodes in Winter 2025. Disney+ and Hulu streamed the anime with subs and dubs in multiple languages.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in March 2021 and released the 13th volume on January 13.
