'Summertime Render' Reveals Studio, Promo, Spring 2022 Premiere
The Jump Studio Blue stage for the television anime adaptation of Yasunori Tanaka's Summertime Render manga revealed the first key visual (pictured) and the first promotional video on Sunday.
The television anime is scheduled to air in two consecutive cours of 25 episodes beginning Spring 2022 and will fully adapt the manga. The anime will be streaming worldwide on Disney+. OLM (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu., Odd Taxi) is producing the anime series.
Ayumu Watanabe (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu. chief director) is helming the anime, with Hiroshi Seko (Jujutsu Kaisen (TV)) handling the series composition and script. Miki Matsumoto (Satsuriku no Tenshi) is designing the characters.
The sci-fi mystery manga, based on Tanaka's 2008 one-shot Jamais Vu, began in Shounen Jump+ in October 2017 and ended on February 1. Shueisha shipped the 13th and final volume on April 2. The publisher's Manga Plus platform simulpublished the series alongside the Japanese release.
