'Sand Land' Announces Additional Cast
The official website of the Sand Land anime movie adaptation revealed on Tuesday six additional cast and a new visual (pictured). The movie is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on August 18.

Satan: Akio Ootsuka (Mob Psycho 100)
Kokuou: Chafurin (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni)
Swimmer's Papa: Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama)
Pike: Kouji Yusa (Bleach)
Shark: Hiroyuki Yoshino (Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis)
Guppy: Masafumi Kobatake (Spy x Family)
Toshihisa Yokoshima (Cocolors) helms the movie at Sunrise, Anima, and Kamikaze Douga. Hayashi Mori (Ame wo Tsugeru Hyouryuu Danchi) is penning the script and Yuugo Kanno (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 3: Stardust Crusaders) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Akira Toriyama's short fantasy adventure manga, which serialized in the Weekly Shounen Jump magazine from May to August 2000. Shueisha shipped the volume in November of the same year. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English and released the volume in December 2003.
