Manga 'Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chuuhai no Aji ga Shite' Gets Anime in 2025
WWWave Corporation's Deregula animation label announced an anime adaptation of Chinjao Girl and Tama Nogami's Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chuuhai no Aji ga Shite (Married Women's Lips Taste Like Canned Chuuhai) manga on Monday, scheduled to premiere in 2025. Original artist Nogami drew a commemorative illustration (pictured).
Chinjao Girl and Nogami began serializing the adult romance manga in Young Magazine Web in February 2021. Kodansha published the 20th volume on December 19 last year, with the 21st volume set to be released on Wednesday. The manga has a cumulative 1.2 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
Synopsis
Tsuyoshi, a 22-year-old third-year university student, spends his days juggling classes and his food delivery job, with a can of strong chuuhai always within reach. Living alone in a small apartment, his mundane routine takes an unexpected turn when he finds himself entangled with Yui Kooriyama, a married woman he has admired since childhood.
