'Ninja Batman tai Yakuza League' Additional Cast Pair Announced
The official website of the Ninja Batman tai Yakuza League (Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League) anime movie—sequel to Ninja Batman (Batman Ninja)—revealed a supporting cast pair and a character visual (pictured) on Friday.
Voice actors Wataru Takagi (Dorohedoro, JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 4: Diamond wa Kudakenai) and Rie Kugimiya (Gintama, World Trigger) are starring as Joker and Harley Quinn, respectively. Kouichi Yamadera (Cowboy Bebop) is reprising his role as Batman.
Junpei Mizusaki (Ninja Batman) and Shinji Takagi (Shin SOS Dai Tokyo Tankentai) are returning to co-direct the movie at Kamikaze Douga. Returning staff members include scriptwriter Kazuki Nakashima (Promare), character designer Takashi Okazaki (Ninja Kamui), and music composer Yuugo Kanno (Pluto).
Ninja Batman was released digitally in the United States in April 2018 and on home video the following May. The movie screened in Japan in June that year.
Monthly Hero's serialized a manga adaptation by
Masato Hisa between June 2018 and August 2019. Hero's published the second and final volume in October 2019.
