'Shikizakura' Reveals Additional Cast, Second Promo
The official website for Chukyo TV Broadcasting and Sublimation's original television anime Shikizakura revealed two additional cast and a second promo on Friday. The original action sci-fi anime is scheduled to premiere in October on Chukyo TV, Nippon TV, and BS NTV.
Mushimegane and Toshimitsu will voice Endou and Koala Genkaku, respectively. Both are members of the Tokai On Air YouTube group based in the Aichi Prefecture. The channel is the 5th most viewed YouTube channel in Japan with a cumulative 8.2 billion views and over 6 million subscribers.
Gou Kurosaki (Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie: Over the Rainbow CG director) is directing the anime, with chief director Shinya Sugai (Dragon's Dogma). Naruki Nagakawa (Scared Rider Xechs) is in charge of the series composition, and Manabu Nakatake (Sket Dance) is designing the characters.
Asaka (Yuru Camp△) is performing the opening theme "BELIEVE MYSELF." May'n (Azur Lane) is performing the ending theme "Shikizakura."
The main cast belong to TYK Promotion in Nagoya, due to the production committees mission to source local talent and promote the city.
