'Jujutsu Kaisen: Shimetsu Kaiyuu - Zenpen' Announces Supporting Cast Pair
The official website of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series announced a supporting pair of cast on Friday. The first part of the third season, subtitled Shimetsu Kaiyuu (The Culling Game), adapting Gege Akutami's supernatural action manga premiered at 12:26 a.m. on TBS and MBS' 28 stations on January 9.
Voice actors Souma Saitou (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka) and Ari Ozawa (Kimetsu no Yaiba) are joining the cast as Rin Amai and Remi, respectively.
Shouta Goshozono (Jujutsu Kaisen 2nd Season) is helming the third season at MAPPA. Yousuke Takada (Jujutsu Kaisen episode director) is serving as assistant director. Hiroshi Seko (Dandadan) is handling the series composition and script. Hiromi Niwa (Mob Psycho 100 III animation director) and Yousuke Yajima (Chainsaw Man animation director) are designing the characters, while Yoshimasa Terui (Kidou Senshi Gundam: GQuuuuuuX) is composing the music.
Gege drew the manga in Weekly Shounen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024. Shueisha published the 30th and final volume in December 2024.
VIZ Media simulpublished the manga digitally with the Japanese release through its Shounen Jump service and released the 28th volume in November 2025. The 29th volume is scheduled to go on sale on February 17. Shueisha's Manga Plus platform also simulpublished the manga in English beginning in January 2019.
