'Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu' Reveals Additional Cast
The official website of the Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs) television anime revealed on Tuesday six additional cast members and a second key visual. The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2022.

Singer-songwriter Kashitarou Itou (Deca-Dence, Shenmue the Animation) is performing the opening theme "Silent Minority" and Riko Azuna (Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?, Shinchou Yuusha) will perform the ending theme "selfish."
Kazuya Miura (Kyuukyoku Shinka shita Full Dive RPG ga Genjitsu yori mo Kusoge Dattara) and Shinichi Fukumoto (Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru. assistant director) are helming the anime at animation studio ENGI. Kenta Ihara (Ore dake Haireru Kakushi Dungeon) is handling the series composition and Masahiko Suzuki (Overlord II sub-character design) is designing the characters.
The anime adapts Yomu Mishima's fantasy romance light novel of the same name, which Kadokawa began publishing with illustrations by Monda in May 2018. The ninth volume shipped on November 30.
A manga adaptation by Jun Shiosato began serialization under Nico Nico Seiga's Dra-Dra-Dragon Age digital manga portal—now Dra-Dra Sharp#—in October 2018. Kadokawa published the seventh volume on January 8. The publisher's ComicWalker platform also serializes the manga.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the light novel and manga adaptation in English last April and December, respectively. The fourth novel volume shipped physically on January 4, with the fifth novel released digitally on January 20. The fourth manga volume will ship on April 19.
