'Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomobishi' OVA Announced

During a fourth live broadcast event for the Toji no Miko franchise on Wednesday, it was announced that an OVA episode is in the works. The OVA will be based on Square Enix's smartphone game Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomobishi. More details will be announced at a later time.

Toji no Miko is an original multimedia franchise that started out as a 24-episode TV anime by Studio Gokumi in Winter 2018. Other adaptations include a stage play, a three-volume manga Sakae Saitou that serialized in Shounen Ace, and a prequel novel written by Aoi Akashiro.

The smartphone game, which is available on The iOS and Android devices, launched in Japan in March 2018. It previously received two short promotional videos. The game is set to launch a new story chapter on December 19 and new characters on December 20.
