Light Novel 'Girly Air Force' Announces TV Anime

Kadokawa announced a TV anime adaptation of Kouji Natsumi and Asagi Toosaka's Girly Air Force light novel on June 1. Satelight will animate the series.
Synopsis
Zai is flying creature that has suddenly appeared and possesses a flying ability that is stronger than any human aircraft. In order to compete with Zai, the humans create a new aircraft called "Daughter," and "Anima," which are automatic female humanoid pilots. The story focuses on Kei Narumi, a man who aspires to fly, and meets a crimson red battling machine and its rider Anima Gripen.
Girly Air Force has been published under the Dengeki Bunko imprint since September 2014. The ninth volume will be released on June 9.
