'Chou Kaguya-hime!' Unveils Additional Cast, Staff, Trailer, Theme Song
The official website for the original anime Chou Kaguya-hime! (Cosmic Princess Kaguya!) revealed additional cast, staff, the main theme song, main visual (pictured), and trailer on Tuesday. The original anime movie will stream exclusively worldwide on Netflix beginning on January 22, 2026.
Voice actresses Rie Kugimiya (Grimm Kumikyoku) and Sarasa Shouji are joining the cast as Fushi and Inudoge, respectively.

Shingo Yamashita (Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man opening director) is helming and handling the script at Studio Colorido and Studio Chromato. Hechima and Akihiro Nagae (Ame wo Tsugeru Hyouryuu Danchi) are designing the characters.
A manga adaptation by Tarou Yoneda will begin with a two-chapter launch in Comptiq's February issue on January 9, with the first volume set for release on February 10, 2026.
A novel adaptation written by Naruto Kiriyama (Cross Road: In Their Cases), supervised by director Yamashita, and illustrations by Asao Urata will be released on January 30, 2026.
