Lucky Star Portable Shrine Departs For Shanghai Expo
According to Saitama Newspaper, the portable shrine featuring Lucky ☆ Star called "Lucky Star Mikoshi" departed from Washinomiya Shrine, the model shrine of Hiiragi sisters' shrine, for Expo 2010 Shanghai. The Mikoshi will arrive at the Expo by the end of this month and will be displayed at Japan Pavilion after the inspection.

Lucky Star Mikoshi was made in 2008. The weight is 130kg and it is carried by about one hundred people at an annual summer festival "Haji-sai". The transport expenses for Expo were built by the donations of the local residents and Lucky Star fans.
