'Digimon Beatbreak' Unveils Supporting Cast, Promo for Second Cour

The official website of the Digimon Beatbreak television anime revealed ten supporting cast, a new visual (pictured), and promotional video for the upcoming Tactic-hen (Tactic Arc) on Sunday. The new arc premieres on January 4 at 9:00 a.m. on Fuji TV and other stations.

Hiroaki Miyamoto (One Piece Marineford arc) is directing the anime at Toei Animation. Ryota Yamaguchi (Digimon Savers) is handling the series composition and Takahiro Kojima (Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken (2020) key animation) is designing the characters. Alisa Okehazama (Jujutsu Kaisen) is composing the music.

The Digimon franchise began in 1997 with the release of the Digital Monster handheld device. The first anime, Digimon Adventure, premiered in 1999. A total of nine television series and 11 movies have been produced over the years.

Digimon Beatbreak marks the tenth television anime in the franchise and the first new anime since the end of Digimon Ghost Game in 2023.
